                                                                     CTE Equipment

Care of Equipment
  1. Preventative maintenance is necessary to maintain all equipment in good working order and should be a part of what we teach our students. Good housekeeping should be an integral part of daily routine for both students and teachers.
  2. Media/storage items should be inventoried daily. This should be a part of a good classroom management system, and students should be taught the value of the tools and the equipment they are using.
  3. Outside doors should be locked when leaving the area.
  4. Lights should be turned off when leaving the area.
  5. Periodic spot inventory should be done to discover missing tools, materials, etc. Stolen or missing equipment should be reported immediately.

Use of Facilities
  1. Keys to district property may not be issued to persons other than district staff members.
